Hi,
I'm new to this list but it seems nice and lively! Currently I am trying
to write a paper about 'Elvis In Concert 1997,' a show given in Memphis
where Elvis appeared on video screen backed by living musicians (recently
it's had a short US tour). What I am interested in is: when, exactly, did
the special digital sound technology (which allowed them to strip the music
from Elvis's video leaving just his voice) appear? Citations about that (or
those recent 'Elvis' shows) either in print or on the net would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark Duffett [UK!]
