Yes, the 1944 film "Laura" (Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews) opens with a shot of
Laura's portrait on her apartment wall as the credit sequence goes by. David
Raksin's wonderfully romantic "Laura's Theme" sets the tone for this film noir
classic.
