Though you already mentioned you have material on Saul Bass, you might
look into Bass's own film, _Phase IV_, an evolutionary essay mostly about
super-intelligent ants.  I've never seen this, so I can't go into detail,
but it has the scene where _Weekly World News_ gets its half human-half
fish.
