I've a wrench to throw into the works. How do you figure in a film like "The
Magnificent Seven" which was a blatant ripoff of Kurosawa's "The Seven
Samurai"?
 
Of course, it's no secret that in Star Trek (TNG and subsequent) the Klingon
species is not-too-loosely based on the samurai of feudal Japan.
 
Just some thoughts.
