Has this one been mentioned?
 
Whoopi Goldberg's outstanding Broadway show was the vehicle that launched
her career.  There is a video and an LP of two seperate performances.
 
Also, I just thought of Gilda Radner's one woman show from the early
80s.  It was also released with a different performance on LP.
