Film/TV education has been impovished by the loss of several colleagues in
the past year and a half. We mourn their passing.
 
To honor these colleagues I have established a memorial page on ScreenSite:

               Lawrence Austin
                    d. 1997. Manager/reviver of the Silent Movie theater in
Los
                    Angeles, CA.
               Richard deCordova
                    d. 1996. Professor at DePaul University and historian
of the
                    evolution of the star system.
               Donie Durieu
                    d. 1996. Wife of former SCS president and Cinema Journal
                    editor, Dana Polan. A fund has been established in her
honor.
               William K. Everson
                    1929-1996. Noted film archivist and NYU professor.
               Nina Leibman
                    Author of Living Room Lectures.
               Cal Pryluck
                    1924-1996. Longtime supporter of UFVA and professor at
                    Temple University and UNC-Chapel Hill.
