I would recommend you look at some of Alanis Obomsawin NFB productions
(documentary) as a reference, especially  "Kanehsatake 270 Years of
Resistance." (To get representation from a Native-American's perspective.)
 
In terms of fictional depictions, you can look up titles with the topic of
your choice on the Internet Movie Database.
 
Simply go to:
 
http://us.imdb.com/list
 
and put either NATIVE, NATIVE-AMERICAN in the 'Genre' field (105 titles
or so).
