My students love the break when I have to turn the Laserdisks. On CAV
(Constant Angular Velocity) approx. every 35 min, on CLV (Constant Linear
Velocity) approx. every 60 min. Maybe because a lot of the healthy viking
descendants are heavy smokers, and long for a "two-inch break".

One solution, hopefully in accordance with "fair use", is to edit out those
segments on videotape, and show them separately from the film.
