              INTERNATIONAL RADIO AND TELEVISION SOCIETY
 
**IRTS is pleased to announce its next Faculty/Industry Seminar which
will take placeFebruary 5-9, 1997.
 
**Through the fund raising efforts of the IRTS Foundation, we
underwrite 75 spaces at  this meeting, which include a single room at
the New York Marriott East Side and most meals. Professors accepted
are responsible for the cost of travel to and from New York, a $150
registration fee, and incidentals.
 
**This year's theme, "CAUGHT IN THE WEB: IS THE MOUSE
ABOUT TO ROAR?", will explore how diversified media companies are
addressing the phenomenal growth of the Internet and advances in new
technology.
