On 10/23, Richard Cowley writes "......Favorite horror movies." Well
Richard, here you go with some classics. How 'bout:
 
Dawn of the Dead (FX done by Tom Savini)
Night of the Living Dead (Romero's remastered version - a must see)
Halloween
Evil Dead (probably the best gore film ever done - blood and
                  chicanery, a perfect blend)
 
There are many more, and I could go on for years, but I won't bore
the rest of you on the list.
