My Name is Matthew Milam. I'm sorry that my first message was rather
quick and rushed.

I am a Columbia College Chicago student getting a film major. One of
my classes happen to be screenwriting I.

I would like to since i have never writen stories or anything more
than two pages long, receive any help on a current screenplay i'm
doing.

Here's the screenplay:

A Look Back on a Dumb Mistake
By Matthew Milam

A Boy stands on a street-corner waiting for a bus. He anxiously tries
to standstill with patience, but it's 6:58 on his watch and he doesn't
want to be late for school. He walks out on to the middle the street
when cars are not passing by. He looks down the road and sees in the
morning darkness to see two bright lights and a sign that says: 52A
and Kedside.

The Tall, Well-Rounded pre-teen gets on his bus and hands the usual
transfer, he takes his seat at the front section of the bus. Putting
his bookbag down, the boy opens it up and takes out a notebook,
apparently a fresh one. He takes out his best pen and starts to
write:

Dear Journal,

This is the first time I will write in this notebook. It's always
hard to do anything from the start, just because it's uncertain you'll
always come out a winner. I have always done things differently,
ever since I started going to high-school I have began to make
decisions without a lot of confusion, even though sometimes I come out
cursed at and battered.

During my Junior year however I made a unfortunate choice, I had to
turn my back on a few of my "friends" because of a fight that was
escalating between one of the bus drivers at my school and there
manager. Although I don't know exactly what happened, I know it made
her want to get on the school bus, and tell me and the rest of the
so-called students there to start a war.

This I will not include in my Journal.

Sincerely,
Matthew Milam

P.S. The reason I don't put the incident in my Journal is because I
would like to simply leave it in the back of my mind.
