        I'm not sure what the boundaries of this discussion are--for
example, does the original question seek films where the stream of images is
given over to an intradiegetic character?--but in this vein Pasolini's
version of *1001 Nights* is pretty spectacular, as are, in another vein,
*Sorry, Wrong Number* and *The Locket*.
