*****  Most Takeshi-directed films have been released on small,
gray-area labels in the US. I think one source is Luminous Film and
Video Wurks (sic), which does pretty good quality transfers and in
contrast to most such companies that focus almost exclusively on
exploitation fare also carries more substantial films from Godard,
Kieslowski, Bresson, etc (along with the most extensive list of
spaghetti Westerns i've seen). Their e-mail address used to be
