Indian films are seen all over the world in theaters except in North
America and Western Europe, where it is disseminated mainly through the
the bootlegged video market, though there are some theaters like th
eGrammercy in New York, that cater to the diasporic population.
Interestingly, American films aren't all that popular in India, though
the situation might be changing with the advent of Star TV etc.
