"Walking and Talking" just openned in New York City on Wednesday. I
just got press information on it today, so it will presumably open in
Boston-Cambridge in the next 2-3 weeks. Perhaps your complaint is a
little premature... As for other women making films, don't forget
Mary Harron's "I Shot Andy Warhol," which received lots of press
attention in the spring, and is still in first release. Coming up is
an interesting little comedy, "Manny and Lo." Women's work it out
there, we just have to look for it, talk more about it, and try to
make it as visible as the mainstream stuff.
