Gene Walz inquires:
"The lowliest genre in all of filmdom--the industrial film. Does anyone know
of any interesting theoretical, critical, and/or descriptive work on these
neglected kinds of films?"

Several of such films (as well as other kinds of promotional and "social
guidance" films) are on the Voyager CD-ROM EMPHEMERAL FILMS, which include
brief analytical texts.

It's a hoot!

(but with a serious purpose)
