One of the best independent bookstores in LA is Midnight Special
Bookstore. It is located in Santa Monica, 3rd Street, on Promenade.
Its film section is not of its greatest, but it has very good books
in social sciences and it also offers a culture corner, with special
readings and film and video showings. It is almost a most bookstore
to visit.
