SCRIPT, the University Film and Video Association Writing
Constituency group, is soliciting media writing for formal
presentation and possible dramatized reading at the 1996 UFVA
Conference. Writing may be in any genre, and may be complete in
itself or a selection of a longer work (if so, please include a
one-page synopsis to situate it.) You may submit up to fifteen pages.
If your writing is accepted for presentation, you will be responsible
for mailling your pages to your assigned respondent and bringing
twenty-five copies to the conference. These copes will be
distributed from the registration table. The writing panels will be
scheduled late in the conference to allow sufficient time for
participants to read your work.
The panels themselves will be structured like formal screenings.
A formal response will be presented by the respondent and then the
floor will be opened for informal response from the attending panel.
Deadline for submission is Feb. 15, 1996
Inclusion in the conference program requires active membership in the
UFVA and conference registration by July 1, 1996.
