There was a post a few months back about soundtracks for Chinese films
so i thought it might be worth pointing out that the one for Shanghai
Triad has just been released.  It's on Virgin France, but distributed
in the US by Caroline (in other words, NOT Virgin here in the States).
It's a pretty odd mix:  Gong Li sings four songs, there are
traditional-sounding Chinese tunes, brass bands playing Western music
(including "Dixie"!).
