           The National Student Media Arts Festival
 
Deadline for entries: Jan. 31, 1996.
 
This festival is organized entirely by and for students. All tapes
will be reviewd by peer committees comprised of students of time
based media. The MeAtFEST is seeking a wide variety of interesting
and challenging time based work that demonstrates the concerns of
students of all ages. All genres and subjects welcome.
 
Selected tapes will be included in a six week exhibition held at the
Visual Studies Workshop Gallery and will also be aired over GRCC TV.
 
All entries should include an Artist's Statement(short) and a stamped
self addressed mailer for return of tapes
 
Work must have been completed after Jan. 1994. Maximum length is 28:00
minutes. Notificatons of acceptance will be made by April 1, 1996.
