 There is also a Hong Kong film belonging to the first wave of that national
cinema (1969-1980) called DEAF AND MUTE HEROINE. I can't remember whether this
stars the unjustly forgotten Angela Mao Ying (cinematic ancestress of martial
arts heroines such as Yukari Oshima and Joyce Godenza) but MONTHLY FILM
BULLETIN issues (1970-1975) may contain some information.
