The Summer break is fast approaching at the Australian Film Television
and Radio School. As library manager I have asked students and staff to
provide each other & next year's incoming students with film & text which
were inspirational to them, with the view we may share each others
experiences over the Xmas-January holiday period.

I thought that perhaps some Screen-L colleagues would like to join us and
share those films, television programs, CD-ROMs, books and articles which
CHANGED YOU WAY YOU LOOKED AT FILM.

Some inspirations received to date include:
Michael Chion's recent book: Audio Vision - Sound on Screen
The Edge of Darkness
The Tracy Ullman Show (where The Simpsons began)
Melvin Bragg's Interview with Dennis Potter
Truffaut's interviews with Hitchcock
Visions of Light

I'll post a complete annotated list one week from now
