Jon Moritsugu did a very clever twist on this:
He won an ITVS grant to direct his film
TERMINAL U.S.A. When it was declared too dirty
for t.v., he digitized portions of the screen,
and blipped out words, but he did this in many
instances where there was actually nothing
"objectionable" in the scene. The result was
that the censored version seems far more
sexual and full of expletives than the actual
film.
