How about Frances? Jessica Lange plays the role of Frances Farmer. Sam
Shepard also stars. I can't remember the director or any other useful
information, but it does deal with the subject of mental disability pretty
much from her standpoint. It deals with the dilemma of diagnosing mental
illness - Frances seems like the sanest character in the movie.
