With regards to films about cooking and eating, let's not leave out
canibalism. Three examples off the top of my head are--
Fried Green Tomatoes
Alive
Eating Raoul
Additionally, one of Shirley Temple's early shorts had her being "cooked"
by a tribe of Africans.
