You could be refering to "Screen Play", a 10 minute animated short by Barry
J. C. Purves, produced by Glen Holberton, a beautifully done, narrated story
where just about everyone (including the narrator) ends up dying by the end.
It was part of _Alive TV_'s 1993 season, and i believe the short was
financed by Channel 4.  Again, you might check with KTCA Mpls/St Paul.
