Dear Whitney -- Three French films spring immediately to mind:  ENTRE NOUS,
PEPPERMINT SODA, and A SIMPLE STORY (with Romy Schneider and absolutely
beautiful).  Are you interested in any classic US features like Cukor's
OLD ACQUAINTENCES (with real-life enemies Bette Davis and Miriam Hopkins)?
More recent films would include HEAVENLY CREATURES (New Zealand).  Some of
Bergman's films are also intriguing on this subject particularly PERSONA.
