Dear Whitney,

You might look at Mireille Dansereau's "La Vie revee" (sorry could not
get the accents working properly on my computer). This film was made in
Canada in 1972 and is a very interesting look at the lives of two women,
their relationship to men, work, advertising and most importantly
eachother. There is a brief interview with Dansereau in The Canadian
Film Reader, ed. Seth Feldman and Joyce Nelson (1977) and a few comments
on the film and the director in "Take Two: A Tribute to Film in Canada"
ed. Seth Feldman (1984). There may be more in other works on Canadian
cinema. Although this film seems a bit dated now, it is really a very
interesting piece of work.

Regards
Jeannette
