The deadline for submissions of paper topics to the Society for Animation
Studies Annual Conference has been extended to June 10, 1995.
 
ORIGINAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Society for Animation Studies is soliciting papers and pre-constituted
panels for its Seventh Annual Conference, September 29-October 1, 1995,  at
the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Papers will be considered
on any aspect of animation, and fresh perspectives on traditional subjects
are welcome; international participants are encouraged to analyze their
regional styles, animators, and studios.  Presentations will be 20 minutes
in length and may be delivered in any language, but English translation
should be prepared in time for distribution to the audience. Deadline for
proposals: June 10, 1995.  Contact:  Michael Frierson, Department of
