I'm writing a piece about Hollywood's taboo handling of inter-racial sex
-- why are book plots changed so that Denzel and Julia don't kiss in The
Pelican Brief etc. Why Laurence Fishburne and Ellen Barkin got to do it in
Bad Company. The role of focus groups etc.

Any anecdotes, examples, texts I should be aware of?

Thanks
