----------------------------Original message----------------------------

The first two Evil Dead movies had reel to reel machines that
resummoned the hoary hosts of hell.

In Kalifornia a couple listened to a recording that a killer made of one
of his victim's pleas as the tromp through the very spot that it happened.

An answering machine is used to add to the confusion when a message recorded
too soon is heard too late in Blood Simple. (I think that's the way it
goes.)
