Does anyone know the status of a film recently screened at Sundance
entitled KIDS, by the photographer Larry Clark (whose photos were published
in the books TULSA and TEENAGE LUST)? Gavin Smith wrote an article about
it in the April FILM COMMENT and called it "the best film of this year's
Sundance Film Festival, and unquestionably one of the most important
American films of the year." Apparently Miramax picked it up, but the
suspicion is that parent company Disney isn't going to make it available
anytime soon.

I'd like to know if there are any planned screenings of this film at all
this coming year in the So Cal area, or anywhere else for that matter.
Anybody know anything about it?
