In case some of you don't know about this database, it can be useful for
seearching for articles if you don't have a free database for that. We
Don't! There are quite a number of popular and scholarly journals in the
base, and if you like it you may even set up an account for faxing the full
article over.
 
 
UnCover database (Colorado) for searching article info, here is how to get
on their system.
 
Telnet to PAC.CARL.ORG and log in as PAC (which is public access), then go
into the system till you get here:
 
 CARL Corporation offers access to the following
                        groups of databases:
 
               1. Library Catalogs
                       (including Government Publications)
 
               2. Current Article Indexes and Access
                       (including UnCover and ERIC)
 
               3. Information Databases
                       (including Encyclopedia)
 
               4. Other Library Systems
 
               5. Library and System
 
Choose 2 then you get this:
 
              CURRENT ARTICLE INDEXES AND ACCESS
 
       ARTICLE INDEXES CURRENT RECEIPTS
   50. UnCover -- Article Access 53. New Journal Issues
       (Article Access & Delivery)
   52. ERIC
   57. British Library Document UNION LISTS
       Supply Centre (Article Delivery) 54. Boston Library Consortium
   80. Magazine Index & ASAP
         (full text available)
   81. Business Index & ASAP NATIONAL SERIALS CATALOGING DATABASE
         (full text available) 55. CONSER
   84. Health Index
   86. National Newspaper Index
   87. Expanded Academic Index FULL TEXT
                                         56. Online Libraries
 
Choose 50, and keep hitting return at all prompts about passwords, profiles
and the like till you get to the database.
