They usually get big fat press packages from distributors who understandably
want to encourage as much publicity as they can.
 
And, sometimes, if the distributor is rich and the film is headed for
blockbuster city, the reviewers will get flown places to interview the
stars, etc., on "press junkets". Nice work if you can get it.
