My "source" was Newsday columnist Lars-Erik Nelson.

I know that it would be easier to dismiss if this was only MY opinion,
but these are the FACTS as I know them, from the "liberal" media.

Murdoch wants to BUY the stations. He doesn't want PBS or anyone else
as his competition, which is what PBS is, pure and simple. If you own
any TV stations, then anyone who takes viewers to another channel is
your competition. Drive them out of business, and buy up their licenses
CHEAP.

Murdoch is a mercenary. I have watched his activities for years. He
became an American so he could buy the Fox stations, but his company is
still Australian so he can get away from paying some corporate taxes.

I worked for a newspaper for two years. Don't dismiss me as some
liberal couch potato.

Kisses,

jeff cohen
