Vassar College is searching for a film scholar to serve as Luce
Teaching Fellow for 1995-1996.
 
Funded by the Luce Program on Program on Cinema, Literacy and
Culture, This one-year postdoctoral fellowship is designed to allow
young scholars to advance their research while teaching a reduced
load of nudergraduate courses in the film program.
 
Duties: introductory courses in film history and theory; upper-level
courses depending upon ares of specialization; advising and mentoring
of students; organizing a speaker series.
 
Qualifications: Have a Ph.D.in hand by Sept.,1995. Teaching
experience. Solid background in narrative film history and theory,
Strength in: TV, Third World Cinema, or Experimental Cinema.
 
Reviewing begin from Feb. 21th until filled.
