I protest the NAMAC posting. I believe it is totally inappropriate for a
scholarly discussion forum to be used for purely lobbying purposes and don't
understand, frankly, why there has been no online discussion of the issues
relating to public broadcasting such as "Barneygate" etc. Certainly there are
those who are familiar with the subject who might give intelligent commentary
prior to "calls for action." Shouldn't thought precede action?
