Regarding John's request, and for any who might be interested in getting a
list of film festivals here's who to contact:

Assoiciation of Independent Video & Filmmakers
625 Braodway, 9th floor
New York, New York 10012
212/473-3400

The publish a guide called "The AIVF Guide to International Film & Video
Festivals" ($29.95/$24.95 members)

The AIVF also publishes a monthly magazine called, aptly enough, "The
Independent" which also lists current calls for entries of various domestic
(US) and International festivals of all shapes and sizes.

The AIVF is an advocasy group devoted to issues important to the
"non-mainstream" film & videomakers. Membership has too many benifits to list
here. Call them in NYK and ask for details.
