I'm currently working on the cricital works of Grierson and Rotha, and they
often talk about 'interest' movies (*), which seems to be short pictures
with some different subjects. But I wonder what is the exact meaning of
this term in this specific usage and of which kind of movies it exactly
refers to? Anyone have any idea about it?

(*) Grierson, GRIERSON ON DOCUMENTARY, 1971 : 146; Rotha, DOCUMENTARY FILM,
1952 : 77.

Thanks!
