Subject: Re: altman

I interviewed Altman way back in 1982 and found him to be patient, forthcoming,
and more than interested in a scholar who took his work seriously. Although
that was a long time ago, I would be surprised if he has changed substantially.
At the time, I got his phone number from the Director's Guild in NYC. The
woman I spoke with initially was Scott Bushnell, who has served as his
executive producer on a number of occasions. She was very concerned that I not
ask about his private life, which I didn't.

I hope that this information will be of some help.
