Mark Woolrich made the following statement regarding "Yojimbo":

>*Yojimbo- Not a cowboy, gun or horse in sight, but still a western of sorts
thanks to Clint

Since "Fistful of Dollars" was a remake of "Yojimbo", perhaps Clint should be
thanking Toshiro instead. Kurosawa's films were remade into westerns a number
of times, not the other way around.
