        *A Study in Choreography for Camera* (1945), Maya Deren.  It is
only 4 minutes long, but it is beautiful.  It raises issues of race as
well as challenging Hollywood's continuity editing.
        But if you're looking for a feature length film, then it won't.
        How about *Un chien Andalou* (1929), Luis Bunuel?  17 minutes and the
students *love it.*
