                         ITHACA COLLEGE
             COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAM IN LOS ANGELES
                Teaching Positions--Spring 1995
 
The Ithaca COllege Communications Program in Los angeles is creating a pool
of applicants for part-time teaching posistions to teach courses in a variety
of disciplines for Spring 1995 semester.  The courses are for three credits
and enroll undergraduate communicationmajors from Ithaca College.
Doctorate, ABD or MFA preferred.  Master's Degree with successful
teaching experience acceptable.
 
Courses offered for the Spring 1995 semester include:
CORPORATE SPEECH WRITING and INTERVIEWING:  A 3-credit course in which
students engate in the preparation and application of interviewing
and speech writing as well as a critique of both the practice and
underlying dynamics of each.
 
COMMUNICATIONS IN CULTURALLY DIVERSE ORGANIZATIONS: A 3-credit
course which explores the relationship between organizational
communication, organizational culture, and multicultural organizations,
and such variables as race, gender, age, disability, t ethnicity,
and religion.  The course of study includdes theoretical
analysis as well as an examination of organizational practices
in adapting to diversity.

Screening of applications for the Spring 1995 semester will begin
December 1, 1994.  Candidates should submit a vita listing teaching
experience, the names and telephone numbers of three professional
references, and hours available for teaching to:
