Dear colleagues -

Could you please pass on the following job notice to anyone you think would
be qualified and interested in applying? Thanks.

"The English Department, University of Florida, is searching for an
assistant professor, tenure track, with a specialty in video production and
with training in film theory and history. The appointment starts 11 August
1995. The Department is looking for someone to teach video production in
the context of an English Department whose well-developed Film Studies
Program has particular strengths in history and theory. The teaching load
is two-two. Ph.D. and teaching experience are required, and publications,
including video, are desired. A secondary specialization in feminist/gender
theory or computer applications would make a strong addition. All
applications will be acknowledged. Letters and vitae to Ira Clark, Chair,
by 23 November 1994. AA/EEO. Anyone requiring special accomodation to
complete this application should notify the Department Chair."
