Welles isn't a lawyer in TOUCH OF EVIL--he's a corrupt sheriff.  On the other
hand Ray Collins (aka Sgt Tragg in PERRY MASON or Boss Gettys in CITIZEN
KANE) is a sleazy DA.  On the other other hand, Mort Mills plays a young
attorney who sides with the remarkably naive Heston character.
 
On the other other other hand, in relation to Welles, there's always
THE TRIAL!
