There is a Gopher site that holds all of the SCREEN-L messages in
a big fat ol' archive. It wigged out several months ago and
was pretty much unusable.
Now, however, it appears to be back in order <crossing fingers>.
Unfortunately, you cannot search the archives. The messages are
just hanging out there, chronologically, bundled by months.
To search the archives you still need to use the cumbersome method
I posted a couple of days ago.
Anyway, for those of you with Gopher clients, the address is:
UA1VM.ua.edu
Which, not coincidently, is also SCREEN-L's homebase: The University
of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa. And a big thanks to the Seebeck Computer
Center for providing the disk space!
