My fave video on the Gulf War is Phil Patiris, Iraq Campaign 1991.
This video artist has taken the logos from network coverage and snippets
of coverage, and mixed it with Dune, Star Wars,War of the Worlds, etc
to make a critique of media coverage of the war. From the artist,
Phil Patiris, 992 Valencia, San Francisco CA 94110, 415-826-1534.
On the Vietnam War, my article might be helpful. It's called
Good Soldiers, it's on the Vietnam films of the late 80s, and it's
in Seeing Through Movies, ed. Mark Crispin Miller. Its bibliography
references some of the recent crop of books on Vietnam film and lit.
