            THE MOVIE MACHINE SOCIETY FIFTH ANNUAL MEETING
                     Rochester, NY, October 6-7, 1994
 
In conjunction with PhotoHistory IX, Triennial Symposium by the Photographic
Historical Society in cooperation with the George Eastman House, October 6 and
7, 1994. The Society is devoted to the exchange of information and fellowship
among those interested in moving image apparatus, from Arriflexes to
Zoopraxiscopes. PhotoHistory IX attendees are invited to come a day early and
join our program. Located in the Great Finger Lakes region, the area should be
rich in fall colors and photographic antiques.
 
Headquarters for the Movie Machine Society meeting is at Days Inn, 348 East
Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 (716) 325-5010. Make your own reservations ($56
includes complimentary breakfast).  We are the only symposium group at this
hotel within walking distance to the GEH.
 
                                Schedule
 
Thursday evening October 6th Hospitality--Sibley Room. Meet and mix with folks
having similar interests.
 
Friday October 7th A full day of lectures and tours at the world famous George
Eastman House, 900 East Avenue (7 blocks away).

Dinner at the Day's Inn, by reservation, see below. (Note: Day's Inn is on
"restaurant row" should you wish to eat out on your own)
Evening program: lectures continue at the Inn.
 
Saturday October 8th, 1994. PhotoHistory IX, Dryden Theater GEH, the Symposium
tradition continues with a full-day general program of world-class
presentations on a wide range of topics. Nothing similar anywhere!!!
 
Register separately: $65 (+ buffet dinner $25). The $65 includes admission to

Sunday, Oct 9th - Photo Trade Show, Holiday Inn South, 1111 Jefferson Road,
Rochester, NY 14623. Featuring antique cameras, images, books and much more.
Dealers from all over the US offering a wide range of material. Collectors may
also display exhibits and/or materials for sale.

Falls, NY, 14472. Registration accepted at the door but prepaid registration is
requested.
