This discussion was just painfully played out on a music list I'm on (why
be coy, REM). As long as Jeremy's server can handle the load, I would vote
heavily AGAINST combining the two. The digest exploded by a factor of 10
(really!), filled with a lot of, as this person notes, generally facile crap.
I don't like to condemn a whole group of users, but the level of discussion
on USenet has never approached internet.
