          With the assistance of my colleague, David Parker, here are some
          additional titles remade as black-cast films.
          Anna Lucasta (1958 remake of 1949 film)
          Body and Soul (1981 remake of 1947 film)
          Barefoot in the Park (tv series from movie)
          Cool Breeze = The Asphalt Jungle
          Up Tight = The Informer
          The Lost Man = Odd Man Out
          Abby = The Exorcist
          Norman, Is That You? utilized a black cast when adapting the play
          for the screen.
          Contrary to an earlier posting, Black Shampoo is not a remake of
          Shampoo; rather, a hair stylist attacks crime on the Sunset Strip
          using a chainsaw.
          Hope this is of some help.
